About

Hi there! I’m glad you’ve come to my site and I look forward to sharing my thoughts on a variety of topics with you. I’m first and foremost a disciple of Christ, followed by a husband, and homeschooling father to two daughters.

My passion is helping educate Christians to defend the reason for the hope that is in them, and doing it with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15). I’m currently a student at Biola University working on a masters degree in Christian Apologetics.

Before becoming a full-time homeschool dad I spent 20 years in a variety of roles as an engineer, manager, executive vice president, and consulted with several Fortune 500 clients including Boeing, Chevron, and Harley Davidson.

I didn’t start out life as academically gifted (I flunked the 7th grade), but once I discovered the value and purpose in learning I completed a doctoral degree in management at George Fox University, an MBA from University of Sioux Falls, and a BS at the University of Nebraska.
